Our customer is one of the world’s fastest growing cloud strategy companies, offers best-of-breed cloud solutions to more than 1,500 companies around the world and to more than 350,000 users. Many of the world’s most recognizable brands rely on this company for customized strategies to migrate multiple integrated solutions to a single, unified platform, including; Disaster Recovery, Contact Center/Call Center, VoIP telephone systems / Unified Communications, Virtual Desktops, IaaS and more. They have over 300 employees worldwide, 60 of whom work at the European headquarters in Rotterdam.

The ICT department in the Netherlands consists of Research & development, ICT Management and works closely with the US ICT department. They responsible for the continuity, availability and high quality of the telecommunications infrastructure.

The Project Manager is end-to-end responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the installation of IP services to our Clients and Partners or for internal projects. These responsibilities include the draft of a project plan and managing the entire project based on the scope, consisting of cost, time and quality. The Project Manager manages the project team that can consists of our IP Associates, Client representatives and third parties. It’s the ultimate goal for the Project Manager to get the highest Client Satisfaction possible for every project he delivers, both internal and external.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Client contact for project deliveries;
  • Pre-kick-off with Sales Engineering during sales phase;
  • Review of the order;
  • Initiate project starting with an internal kick-off;
  • Creation and management of project plan, including project scope and planning;
  • Organize external kick-off;
  • Guarding the project scope and planning;
  • Manage the project including the team;
  • Documentation;
  • Administration;
  • Invoicing (pre-invoice & first invoice after installation);
  • Primary interface for Clients and third parties;
  • Timely escalations;
  • Internal and external reporting:
    • Provide periodic updates to internal stakeholders
    • Provide periodic updates to Clients
  • Transfer of services to Client Support, including service specifications (“dienstspecs”);
  • Aftercare on delivered services for a period of 1 month;
  • Project evaluations, both internal & external:
    • Client satisfaction
    • Quality of delivery
    • Cost of delivery

Hard skills

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management in the field of SaaS ;
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite products/implementations is a plus;
  • Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects from inception until completion;
  • Prince2 Foundation certification is a plus;
  • Client focus;
  • General understanding of software and Cloud Services;
  • Driver’s license;
  • High level EQ (Emotional Intelligence);
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, both in English and in Dutch (German is a plus);
  • Accurate;
  • Learning agility: open to acquire:
    • basic understanding of IP services & trouble shooting tools;
    • High-level knowledge on network and Client architecture
